Domestic abuse occurs regularly in all parts of our society, including church communities such as St Faith's. It is difficult to see, but is clearly a violation of Scripture, of basic human rights, and of the law of our land. All forms of domestic abuse are wrong and must stop.
As a community of believers seeking to be transformed by Jesus, love like Jesus and impact the world for Jesus, our desire is to make St Faith's a safe place for victims of domestic abuse.
Attached is the Sydney Anglican Policy on Responding to Domestic Abuse which we have adopted and are seeking to put into practice in our church community.
